The PhD Committee take cares after the new programs of Post Graduate being offered at the university and my responsibilities are to get the programs of my school approved and to give input for the other schools and to design Postgraduate and Doctoral Handbook in accordance with the HEC. The handbook contains complete information right from the admission criteria till the defence of the thesis for the participant/applicant.

The KHADI Craft Development Company (KCDC) is the largest project of the Public (Ministry of Industries Pakistan) and Private Partnership of worth Rs. 400 million above which focuses on the development of the Artisans in the field of Textile. The main objectives of the projects are:
- To develop the skill in the artisans specially females in the Southern Punjab with 11 units
- It consists of largest number of Handlooms and semi auto machines. The major task is to utilise environmentally free Greener Approaches with least energy consumption, least wastages and higher quality
- To develop brands in Pakistan and in International market
- To uplift the living of the local community and be a source of poverty alleviation
- Training of the 300 workers every year for the industry and entrepreneurial activities
- Utilisation of natural raw material and add value to the end products
I have been successful right from the launching of the project and in getting it in operation. I am the technical expert and consultant for the company. I have designed the training manuals of different courses in English and Urdu along with their practical and evaluations. The hiring of the team, it’s training and launching of the project along with its marketing and industrial linkages have been successfully carried out. My role in the project as Lead Technical Consultant is:
- To design the project technically with the selection of machines and other equipment
- To get the machinery installed and working
- Prepare the training modules and material for the trainees
- To lead a team of people for production and training
- To develop a world class testing lab
- To produce value added products and set a plan for successive exports all over the globe
- To run the training and research centre along with the new product developments
- Conduct research and development on the natural and sustainable products
- The project trainings will cover industrial engineering tools, TQM, production efficiencies, low wastes and high quality products

- Gen-Prom Project UNDP (United Nations Development Program)
The project’s main focus is on the sustainable development of the textile garments products. The project focuses on the training and skill development of about 5000 female workers in the textile apparel and garments sector. My role in the project as Lead Technical Consultant was:
- Design the project for UNDP and industry
- Make a feasibility and help in the implementation of the project successfully in the industry
- The project mainly focused on the trainings as per the requirements of the Industrial Engineering
Achievements:
The project was initially designed for 3 years where as after its successful implementation and value added results the project has been extended for five years with a funding of Pk. Rs. 500 million each in Punjab and Sindh region. This project again has been renewed and has been spread in other provinces. It has successfully trained thousands of textile workers and has improved the garments sector a lot with huge savings in terms of financial aspect and in terms of others.

I am working as senior trainer and also heading a technical wing of CMD. My responsibilities include:
- Conducting trainings after comprehensive training need analysis
- Designing of projects for Industry, Public, Social Sector (NGOs etc), Education and other multi nationals

I have been very successful in the development of all the above sectors and have worked on many projects for CMD which earned a good amount of profit for the organization.

I am consultant for TEVTA and I have developed many courses for the industry through TEVTA. The courses include spinning, weaving, processing and garments. The projects have been carried out successfully. The training modules being developed by me would be run all over Punjab in about 100 vocational centres of TEVTA.

Achievements:
- There is a long list of achievements one of which is the accreditation of one lab of Interloop successfully running its International Testing as per ISO 17025 accreditation and saving timing and money as they had to send the samples to other labs out of country
- An issue of cardboard colour bleeding was successfully handled of Nike products which would have resulted in huge losses. This included the quality and process enhancement of the card board suppliers and paper printers
- An issues of feel and dye uptake was handled successfully
- Trainings are being carried out and many goals have been achieved already
