Guest speaker: Mr Haroon Khadim, Head of Merchandising Department (UN-Stitched Retail Management) at Sapphire Textiles.
Background: Has considerable work experience of 7 years. Worked with a Designer in Design Studio of a renowned Fashion Designer “Yasir Waheed” for 3.5 year and completed 4 years till now at Sapphire Textiles by working in different departments. Detail of his tenure is as follows.
Head of merchandising Unit/Department 5 month till date
Head of Design Studio: 1 year
Head of Product Development 1.5 year
Department of Sourcing 1 year
Education: Bachelor in Textile & Apparel Design from National Textile University Faisalabad.
Purpose to arrange this Seminar: Students have obtained knowledge about the basic requirements for a designer to fulfill for smooth working of different processes of garment development in a successful industry according to the point of view of a working designer.
