STD in collaboration with GIZ is organizing 6 week training program in which students are being introduced to the Fashion and Garment industry. They will learn and apply fundamentals of pattern making and cutting, sewing will be more emphasized. These competency standards cover the Dress Maker Trade and include a total of 30 competencies, whereas professional covering 7 key functions i.e. analyze the design, preparatory process for dress making, drafting of design pattern, perform fabric cutting with standard conditions applied, perform stitching, finish garment and develop professionalism of Dress Maker Trade
